We are a group of friends, deeply transformed by the love of God, with a shared burden: to see souls saved and lives changed through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
At Preach the Gospel Platform, our mission is simple yet eternal — to help people come to know God personally, experience His love, and walk in the freedom and identity that Jesus purchased for them on the cross.
🔥 What We Believe
We believe that:
-
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for the sins of the world.
-
He was buried, and on the third day, God raised Him from the dead — defeating sin, death, and the power of the enemy.
-
Through faith in Jesus, anyone can be saved, forgiven, and made new.
-
Salvation is a gift, not earned, but received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).
-
Everyone is created with purpose, value, and a God-given identity that can only be found in Christ.
💖 Why We Do This
There are so many people walking through life in pain, confusion, addiction, fear, and spiritual darkness. But we know that:
-
Jesus sets captives free (Luke 4:18)
-
Jesus heals the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3)
-
Jesus restores identity and hope (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Our passion is to see revival, deliverance, and the love of God flood hearts and homes across nations. We want people to know that God is real, and He longs for a relationship, not religion.

📖 “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” — Romans 1:16

What is the Gospel of Jesus
1.
The Problem: Humanity’s Separation from God
🔹 God created everything, including us.
- God made humans to be in relationship with Him, to love Him, and to reflect His goodness.
“So God created mankind in His own image…” — Genesis 1:27
🔹 But humans chose sin (disobedience), separating us from God.
- Sin isn’t just murder or theft — it’s any thought, action, or attitude that goes against God’s will.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
🔹 Sin has consequences: spiritual death and separation from God.
“The wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23a
Like a broken relationship, our connection with God is shattered by sin.
❤️ 2.
The Solution: God’s Love and Rescue Plan
🔹 God still loves us and doesn’t want us to stay separated.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
🔹 Jesus is God’s Son, sent to fix what we broke.
- Jesus lived a perfect life — no sin — and taught about love, truth, and God’s Kingdom.
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” — John 1:14
🔹 Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment
we
deserved.
“He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness.” — 1 Peter 2:24
🔹 His death was the sacrifice that paid for our sin — once and for all.
“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures… He was buried… He was raised on the third day.” — 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
✝️ 3.
The Victory: Jesus Rose from the Dead
Jesus didn’t stay dead. On the third day, He resurrected — proving His power over death and sin.
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” — Luke 24:5–6
This shows that:
-
Jesus is truly the Son of God
-
Death is not the end
-
We can have eternal life through Him
🤝 4.
The Invitation: How to Receive the Gospel
Jesus offers a free gift of forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who believes.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23
You don’t have to earn it or fix yourself first. You simply:
-
Believe Jesus is Lord and died for your sins
-
Repent (turn away) from sin
-
Receive Him as your Lord and Saviour
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
🕊️ 5.
The New Life: What Happens After Believing
🔹 You’re forgiven — your past is washed away.
“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
🔹 You are adopted into God’s family.
“Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12
🔹 You receive the Holy Spirit — God living in you.
“And you also were included in Christ… when you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.” — Ephesians 1:13
🔹 You begin a journey of transformation — becoming more like Jesus.

How to come to God

Step 1: Acknowledgement
Step 1: Acknowledge Your Need for God
This step means:
-
Acknowledge that God is real and holy.
-
Acknowledge that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself.
-
Recognize your deep need for God’s forgiveness, mercy, and help.
1️⃣ Acknowledge
God is Holy, Righteous, and Creator
“Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.” — Psalm 100:3
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.” — Isaiah 6:3
God is perfect and pure. He deserves our worship and obedience.
2️⃣ Acknowledge
Your Own Sinfulness
No one is perfect. Every person has sinned — by nature and by choice — falling short of God’s standard.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
Sin separates us from God:
“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you.” — Isaiah 59:2
Acknowledging this isn’t about shame, but about coming into the light and being honest with God.
3️⃣ Acknowledge That You
Can’t Fix Yourself
Many people try to be “good enough” to earn God’s favor, but we can’t save ourselves by doing good deeds.
“All our righteous acts are like filthy rags.” — Isaiah 64:6
“There is no one righteous, not even one.” — Romans 3:10
We need God’s grace, not our own effort.
4️⃣ Acknowledge
Your Need for a Saviour
Realizing you can’t fix or save yourself points you to Jesus — God’s solution for our sin.
“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” — 1 Timothy 1:15
“Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:6
📌 Summary of Step 1
To come to God, the first thing you must do is acknowledge the truth:
-
God is holy and worthy.
-
You are a sinner who needs His mercy.
-
You cannot save yourself.
-
You need Jesus.
This humble acknowledgment opens the door for repentance, forgiveness, and salvation.

Step 2: Genuine repentance
Step 2: Genuine Repentance
💡 What is repentance?
Repentance is not just feeling sorry or guilty — it’s a heart-level turning:
-
Turning away from sin
-
Turning toward God
-
A change of mind, heart, and direction
It means you are done with living life your own way and surrendering to God’s way.
🔥 Scriptures That Explain Genuine Repentance
1️⃣
Repentance is Commanded by God
“In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent.” — Acts 17:30
God desires everyone to repent, not just feel sorry or regretful.
2️⃣
Repentance Is a Heart Change That Leads to a New Life
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” — Acts 3:19
True repentance leads to forgiveness, cleansing, and spiritual renewal.
3️⃣
Genuine Repentance Brings a Change in Behavior
“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” — Matthew 3:8
Real repentance will start to show in your actions. Your lifestyle begins to reflect your new heart.
4️⃣
God is Merciful When We Truly Repent
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9
“Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them…” — Isaiah 55:7
God doesn’t reject those who come to Him with a sincere and repentant heart.
5️⃣
Worldly Sorrow vs. Godly Sorrow
Some people feel bad only because they were caught or feel consequences. But godly sorrow leads to real change.
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” — 2 Corinthians 7:10
🧭 What Genuine Repentance Looks Like:
False Repentance
Saying sorry only to avoid punishment
Going back to the same sin
Excusing or blaming others.
No real change
Genuine repentance
Deep sorrow for grieving God
Turning away from sin and growing in obedience
Taking full responsibility before God
A transformed heart and actions

STEP 3: Believe and accept Jesus to be saved
What Does It Mean to Believe in Jesus?
To believe in Jesus is not just to know about Him intellectually — it’s to:
-
Trust that Jesus is the Son of God
-
Believe He died for your sins and rose again
-
Receive Him into your heart and life as your Saviour and King
-
Surrender your life to Him and follow Him
📖 Key Scriptures
1️⃣
Believe in Jesus to Be Saved

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8
You don’t earn salvation — you receive it by faith.
2️⃣
Whoever Believes Has Eternal Life
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16
“Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.” — John 6:47
3️⃣
Jesus Is the Only Way to God
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6
There is no other path to God, forgiveness, or eternal life apart from Jesus.
4️⃣
Receiving Jesus Makes You God’s Child
“Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12
When you accept Jesus, God adopts you into His family. You are no longer just His creation — you become His child.
🧎♂️ How to Believe and Receive Jesus
It’s simple but powerful. You can respond to God through a sincere prayer like this:
🙏
Sample Prayer of Salvation
“Lord Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again.
I confess that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness.
I repent of my sins and turn to You.
I receive You now as my Lord and Saviour.
Come into my heart. Change me. Lead me.
Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
🔄 What Happens After You Believe:
-
Your sins are forgiven (1 John 1:9)
-
You are born again spiritually (John 3:3)
-
You receive the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13–14)
-
You begin a new life following Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Step 4: Get Baptised
Step 4: Get Baptised
💧 What Is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward sign of your inward faith. It is a public declaration that:
-
You have believed in Jesus
-
Your sins have been washed away
-
You now belong to God and are living a new life in Christ
📖 What the Bible Says About Baptism
1️⃣
Jesus Commands Baptism
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19
Baptism is part of following Jesus and obeying His command.
2️⃣
Jesus Himself Was Baptized
“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.” — Mark 1:9
Even though Jesus had no sin, He was baptized to fulfill righteousness and set an example for us.
3️⃣
Baptism Symbolizes Death to Sin and New Life in Christ
“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4
Going under the water symbolizes dying to your old life. Rising from the water symbolizes being raised into a new life with Jesus.
4️⃣
Early Believers Were Baptized Immediately After Believing
“Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.” — Acts 2:41
“Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus… ‘Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?’… Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.” — Acts 8:35–38
Baptism is the first act of obedience after believing in Jesus.
🧭 Common Questions About Baptism
➤
Is baptism what saves me?
No. You’re saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9). Baptism doesn’t save you, but it is an essential step of obedience after salvation.
➤
When should I get baptized?
As soon as possible after believing. There’s no need to wait until you’re “perfect.” Baptism is for those who believe in Jesus and have repented.
➤
How should I be baptized?
In the Bible, people were baptized by immersion in water — symbolizing full death, burial, and resurrection.
“…they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.” — Acts 8:38
📌 Summary of Step 4: Get Baptised

Baptism is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus.
-
It shows that your old life is gone, and you are now living a new life in Christ.
